Panchkula Court Recruitment 2024 (eCourts.gov.in) New Notification

On the 3rd day of June 1996, the inception of the legal system in Panchkula saw the establishment of two courts. Sh. R.K. Kashyap took charge as the Civil Judge (Senior Division)-cum-Chief Judicial Magistrate, Panchkula, while Shri Y.S. Rathore assumed the role of Civil Judge (Junior Division), Panchkula. Shri Darshan Singh, the first Additional District & Sessions Judge in Panchkula, joined on 7 March 2000. Initially, these courts operated as part of the Ambala Sessions Division.

Panchkula District acquired its distinct identity as a separate Sessions Division on 9 May 2005, with Shri Arvind Goel serving as its first District & Sessions Judge. Currently, Sh. Subhas Mehla holds the position of District & Sessions Judge, Panchkula.

The legal landscape in Panchkula comprises two exclusive CBI Courts in Haryana, led by Sh. Jagdeep Singh and Dr. Aman Inder Singh. Additionally, three Courts of Additional District & Sessions Judges are helmed by Sh. Sanjay Sandhir, Sh. Narender Sura, and Sh. Amit Sharma. Sh. Hitesh Garg serves as a Civil Judge Senior Division, while Sh. Nitin Raj functions as Chief Judicial Magistrate. One Court of Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division), presided over by Ms. Iram Hasan, and three Courts of Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, overseen by Ms. Monika Jangra, Dr. Tarun Kumar Verma, and Ms. Anjali Narwal, operate in Panchkula. There is also an exclusive Court for Negotiable and Instrument Act, presided by Sh. Viren Kadyan. Ms. Ritu Garg serves as the Principal Judge of the Family Court, and Ms. Sampreet Kaur holds the position of Chief Judicial Magistrate-cum-Whole Time Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Panchkula. These courts are strategically located in Sector-1, Panchkula.

The District Bar Association, Panchkula, draws inspiration from its parent Bar in Ambala, inheriting traits, traditions, and qualities. Ambala’s District Bar Association has played a pivotal role in producing legal luminaries.

In the Sub-Division of Kalka, two courts operate one under the leadership of Ms. Diksha Dass Ranga as the Additional Civil Judge (Senior Division) and the other under the guidance of Ms. Rekha Chaudhary as the Civil Judge (Junior Division).
